Our name honors a city built by operators, entrepreneurs, and long-term builders.
Silk City is the historical nickname for Paterson, New Jersey — named for the massive textile industry that once defined the city. Paterson's identity was shaped by production, industry, and reinvention. That legacy resonates with how we think about real estate: not as passive ownership, but as active execution.
The name is a nod to place, but it is not the entirety of the thesis. The broader opportunity is to apply disciplined capital and strong operations to assets and neighborhoods that can materially improve through focused stewardship.
